Thundershirt

Like many greyhounds, Puddin has a phobia of thunderstorms (and any other loud noises for that matter).  I had high hopes for the thundershirt after reading so many positive reviews from fellow bloggers.  I ordered her shirt back in July and we've had many chances to use it since then.  Unfortunately, I'm here to write that it didn't do anything for us!  Puddin still shakes, she still runs upstairs to our bedroom to hide, she still refuses to go out to potty no matter how long the storm lasts, and she won't eat any treats during a storm - not even chicken!  The evidence is in the photo - she just leaves the chicken sit there until the storm passes or Buford gets brave and snags it!  She also goes from 60 lbs to 160 lbs when we're trying to wrestle her off the bed to put the shirt on her.  The good news is at least she doesn't seem to mind the shirt once it's on, so basically it just keeps her warm when it's damp out, haha :)  Fortunately, Mr. Buford is oblivious to storms and is not phased by them!
