Anyway, here are some of my favorites. Puddin gives me such a look of disdain sometimes when I'm taking pictures of her, I can just imagine that she is rolling her eyes at me and saying 'are you done yet?' Buford is usually just happy to have me near him and doesn't care what I'm doing!

Black and White
I have never shot black and white images straight from the camera so last weekend I decided to play with the monochrome picture style on my camera, using the 50 mm lens. I took all of these (and more) in about 15 minutes time last Saturday morning and really like how they turned out. I don't shoot in RAW so there is no way to get the color back with the monochrome setting, but since I was just playing around it didn't matter anyway. One of these days I will get around to learning how to edit photos in general. Photoshop is on my list of things to learn this year, but for now what I take straight out of the camera is it - and I think I will try monochrome more in the future.

I have not shot in black and white either..but my favorite photo of Dana was shot by a friend in BW. PHotoshop isn't easy..i actually like and use Corel Paintshop Pro. A lot cheaper then Photoshop and I think easier to use.
I love the black and white photos, especially the last one with the sunbeam and paw over the head! I use photoshop online, it seems pretty easy to use and I didn't have to buy any software.
I use both Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, and know only a few things in each. But it usually helps clear up any minor mistakes, mainly exposure. Nothing like getting the stinkeye while trying to get some shots of the kids. Your kids are cute as always.
Those are gorgeous photos!
Nice pictures!
A lot of times I take the photos in color, then convert them to black and white on the camera before I download them to the computer. There are some filter effects that I like playing with, too!
Your black and white shots turned out beautifully!
Oh, I love those photos! Particularly the one of Burford looking up at you with those big, soulful eyes of his:) I'm using Gimp because it's free, but I haven't learnt much about it yet.
beautiful! I occasionally use mono for a shot here and there. I like how the absence of colour makes your eye take in shading, tones, textures. Love these!
I love BW photos. They are so timeless and are my favorite. You got some great shots! I am envious of that 50mm lens. :)
