Wondering where I've been? Or maybe you haven't even noticed that I had disappeared for a while ;) I have been around to very few blogs in the last month or so and haven't updated my own either. My travel schedule at work has been crazy lately and it seems that I'm in a different state every other week. I've been cycling through Hawaii, California, and Maryland regularly over the past several weeks and am getting ready to start it all over again! Needless to say, I haven't taken many pictures of the pups lately! On top of that, on one of those trips, I accidentally dropped my Canon 7D camera in the kiddie pool when my daughter fell in the water. We were in Kauai at the time and I was left with no camera for the rest of the two week trip! It was only in the water for a second or two (literally), but it was enough to ruin it! I was so bummed for a long time! I sent it off to Canon for a repair estimate and they wanted nearly what a new one would cost so I decided not to do it. My husband came home with a new camera for me last week! Yay!
In the meantime, I found a draft post that I had started weeks ago and never posted.
Buford has a very peculiar habit where he places his toys on chairs in the dining room and the living room - he doesn't do this anywhere else in the house. You might think that Lauren puts them up there or maybe he just gets excited and flings them in the air and they land on the chairs, but that's not the case. I have seen him walk over and drop off a toy many times so I know it is him. It makes me smile every time I see one there. He has done it for years and I finally decided to take some pictures. No clue why he does it, but it makes me laugh!

Very cute. Would love to see video of him doing it. What model camera you get?
That is so cute. Maybe he doesn't think anyone else can get to his toys that way.
I think I'd have had a meltdown right there with the camera! In Hawaii no less!
What an endearing habit Buford has! I guess he wants the toys to be comfortable until he comes back for them later.
so sorry about your camera. :(
That is so cute. Maybe he's just trying to do his part to help clean up. Or, he just wants to make sure his toys have a nice place to rest.
That is so cute..they do get peculiar habit, right? So glad you got a new camera..I did feel for you!!! Did you get another 7D?
LOL... that is so funny. :-)
That is the cutest thing I've seen in a while!
I ended up getting another 7D. I thought about the 5D MK II, but I just don't think I'm ready for that much camera and I decided for the price difference I could just put that money into another lens or two!
