A Walk With Vinny

I remember a time (with our previous pack) when we took the pups for a walk every single day no matter what!  For most of his life (until the last 6 months or so), Buford insisted on it and wouldn't have it any other way!  Puddin never really cared and, especially as she aged, she was happy to skip walks even when Buford still went.  After he passed, the walks slowed and then came to a stop since she really didn't enjoy them.  Life is always busy and we got out of the habit of walking.  Now that we have Vinny and Kallie we still don't take them out often. 

One day recently though I decided to try walking again - and that was a mistake, ha ha!  I know Vinny is bit of a spaz and still pulls on the leash so I thought I would try Kallie.  Unfortunately, she was terrified of every little noise and soon after we left I turned around and traded her out for Vinny.  He enjoyed it, but the zig-zagging was driving me nuts!  At our mid-way point, I stopped to take a couple pictures and then we headed back home. 

Our walk was a mere 20 minutes total mind you and it was early in the morning so it was not too hot.  Clearly he begs to differ though and I took this video when we got home - his tongue was wildly flopping around and I couldn't help but laugh!  Is it that obvious that we don't go for walks often?
