New Friends

Puddin has a new BFF!  Well, maybe not forever :-)  Tracy gave me a cute stuffed puppy dog shortly after we started dating (nearly 10 years ago now).  After we got Macy she decided to make the puppy hers.  All this time, she has been the only one who played with him - she's really not into playing with stuffed animals like the other two are so the puppy has remained safe.  However, in the last couple of weeks, Puddin has suddenly discovered the puppy!  She carries it with her everywhere now and is very protective over her puppy!  She plays with it, sleeps with it, and carries it around like it's a trophy.  The other night we went to bed around 11 pm.  I should mention that all of the dogs have migrated back to sleeping in our bedroom with us again.  Anyway, about 10 minutes later, Puddin got up and left the room. I listened to her as she headed downstairs and I wondered what she was doing.  I could hear her little pitter patter going from room to room then she came rushing back upstairs with the puppy!  How cute that she went on a search for her new buddy!  Puddin's antics roused Macy and then Puddin and Macy both started ripping and running up and down the hallway after each other.  It was nearly 11:30 pm and they were having a party!  How it didn't wake up Lauren I don't know, but eventually Puddin brought her puppy to bed and we all went to sleep with a smile on our face!

Here are various pictures of Puddin and the puppy.  She is adorable when she's carrying the puppy (he's a pretty big guy), but as much as I tried I just couldn't get her to hold still long enough to get a standing picture that was good.
