Puddin is an active little girl and she loves a good romp in the yard! She runs fast...she runs hard....and she can turn on a dime! I'm sure there are lots of greyhounds who are faster in a straight line, but we haven't seen many that can turn quite like her. We've had to deal with a few pad injuries as a result, but last weekend was the worst so far. We ended up taking her to the vet Monday morning because she tore one pad off of each of her front paws and sliced a pad on one of her back paws. She was not a happy camper with this situation.
She had a follow-up appointment on Friday where she got the bandages off and she's feeling much better now! We're still leash walking her for now...unfortunately, I have a feeling that we'll see a repeat performance at some point in the future though.

I was looking at a blog this weekend where somebody had made a jack o lantern on their hound's foot bandage. It was so cute. I'm not sure Puddin' would be amused, though.

Poor thing, she paid heavily for her few seconds of fun.
Ouchies! Just tell her she looks like a thoroughbred with those bandanges on her legs.
