Mother's Day was bittersweet this year. I am so very lucky to be Lauren, Buford, and Puddin's mama, but there is still a little piece of my heart missing - this year, Mother's Day happened to also fall on what would have been Macy's 7th birthday (May 8). I was pretty depressed, but I also tried to focus on the many blessings in my life. Tracy was out of town, but I spent the day at my aunt's house and took advantage of having someone else on the other end of the lens to get some pictures of me and the kids. Most of them are with Buford and Puddin since this is their blog, but here's one with Lauren because she is just so darn cute (I also have another blog that is all about her).
Since everyone wanted their turn with Lauren, I also took advantage of the opportunity to get a few pictures of Buf and Pud alone. They love going to my aunt's house and their ears stay perked pretty much the whole time they are outside because they're just so excited to see and hear all of the different sights and sounds (plus she has squirrels and bunnies in her yard)!

You are a great mommy! I know there are no words that can make missing Macy "easier" for you. Just remember that she knows how much you loved her and will always love her...forever...
You got great pictures of all your babies! Lauren gets cuter every day, and Buford and Puddin really seemed to know when to turn on their modeling faces this time! I hope you have some of those framed. :)
