We never carved pumpkins until we had children and now every year we end up doing more and more. This year we had seven (eight if you include the extra one we did for my mom). My daughter designed three of them on her own by drawing a picture on paper - my husband then turned her drawings into jack-o-lanterns and he also did the 'spooky' pumpkin. I did the cat, bat, and greyhound pumpkins and we did the pug together. We had fun and the kids loved it! It took me nearly an hour to carve the greyhound pumpkin, but I was pretty proud of it in the end...especially since it was hard to tell if it was actually going to turn out looking like anything recognizable as I was doing it! :) After seeing the greyhound, my daughter wanted to surprise my mom with a pumpkin of her favorite breed so we also made a pug pumpkin. I wonder what's in store for us next Halloween?!

Great job! We did a greyhound one a few years ago. But we have the opposite situation. One year we carved 5, the next 2 and now none. haha
Oh those are super cool. Do Buford and Pudding want a Pug sibling? :)
Typed Puddin. Stupid autocorrect.
