Woody's First Beach Trip

I have an uncle who is fighting cancer and loves the beach.  So, we spent a weekend at Virginia Beach at the end of October (rescheduled from a previously planned Sept trip).  Tracy and Vinny stayed home, but the kids begged to take Woody!  He did great on his first trip, even better than I expected!  The weather was gorgeous on Saturday (just a bit breezy) and a bonus was that it was October so really there was hardly anyone else on the beach!  The girls had a blast and it's safe to say that Woody loved the beach!  He dug and dug and dug in the sand, put he nose into the little hole he dug and then dug some more!  He had no interest in the water though!  Chi Chi girl (Taylor) was always my helper when walking Woody and kept asking me to take pictures, she just adores him!  There was also an annual run along the boardwalk (and surrounding areas) where people wear costumes.  It was pretty entertaining and we later learned there were about 8,000 participants!  Woody enjoyed taking in all of the new sights, sounds, and smells at the beach!
