Birthday Party

This is Puddin and I get to write the last entry for the year to tell you about my first birthday! Well, actually mama said that I turned 5, so I guess I've had birthdays before, but no one ever told me!!! My birthday was on December 26; however, we didn't celebrate until today. Mama was still sick on my actual birthday and wasn't in the partying mood - I didn't mind though because I was still pretty tired from the Christmas festivities anyway. I also learned that mama and I were almost born on the same day! My birthday is December 26 and hers is December 27. I didn't know that mama was so old though - she turned 31! She gets around pretty good for 31 though. I'm only 5 and sometimes I'm really stiff and slow to get up after a nap...I can't imagine what I'm going to feel like at 31!

I really like birthdays - mama made us a chicken liver cake with cream cheese on top. It was really yummmmmyyy!!! Mama said it wasn't pretty, but we didn't mind - it still tasted good! We each got a piece, but I was afraid someone might try to take mine so I grabbed my whole piece and ran to my bed with it. I gobbled my piece up first and then ran over to see if I could steal some of my brother and sister's cake also. Macy and Buford were glad it was my birthday too, but they didn't share much of their cake! Here we are enjoying our cake.

Macy thought she hit the jackpot, but mama said we have to save the rest of the cake for tomorrow!

Then I got a new stuffie too - like I said birthdays are greyt!

I really wasn't in the playing mood for some reason, so I just guarded my squeaky jack and wouldn't let Buf have it for a long time (I even growled at him once). He really, really wanted it though and since I wasn't playing with it mama said I had to share!

This was the best birthday party I've ever been to! After the party was over, we went back to what we do best! Happy New Year everyone, in case we're not awake to say it later :)
