No Pictures
Well, it's been nearly two weeks and I still can't upload any pictures! I am very disappointed in blogger and google! I know I'm not the only person with this problem, but I notice that plenty of people (most, in fact) are still posting just fine. Through my research, I've learned about the MANY problems with blogger that I never knew existed before...it has made me realize that turning my blogs into books needs to become a priority so I don't lose all of these memories! I was able to upload to Lauren's blog the other night so I thought the problem was fixed. It's not! Now I'm back to not being able to upload pictures to either blog again! It's so frustrating...

Are you still having errors on your Wordpress blog, too? What sort of error are you getting? That has to be so frustrating!
:( I understand your frustration. I am really loving wordpress. It has been smooth sailing so far. How do you convert your blog to a book?
Was Blogger tech support any help? Kris had good luck with Yahoo tech support after mail upgrade. I use an offline app, MacJournal, for blogging. That way, if anything happens to my Blogger acct, I lose nothing. I was able to download all my previous posts to the program, when I started using it.
It's probably worth while to backup your blog. I think this method only grabs the text, but if you go to settings -> Basic .. at the top there is an Import Export blog. Pick export and you you will be able to download the blog in a format that can be imported later into another one. I don't think it gets the pictures but the posts should be retained for your book and could be re-imported if for some reason you lost your existing posts.
I'm sorry you having problems with Blogger. My problem is leaving comments for people who are not on Blogger. I can't do it unless I use Internet Explorer and that's not what I usually use. There has to be a setting wrong somewhere on mine. It used to work.

Last week I had trouble uploading pictures. When I went to browse the pictures wouldn't show up as thumbnails so I couldn't tell which pictures they were. I had to copy them to my desktop and then upload them. Although, I don't really know if that was a blogger problem or not. It's frustrating though.
It's good to know I'm not the only one frustrated! I have tried different images, different computers, different accounts, different editors, and different browsers with no luck! And Blogger help has been no help at all because I've done all of their suggestions and it still doesn't work! I did export my blogs last week so it saved all of the text, but not the images. There are a few differnt options out there for converting your blog to a book. A friend of mine uses blurb.com and likes it. They seem to be the most convenient, because they have a blog-to-book option that imports all of your text and images automatically. I tried it a while ago, but you have to spend some time re-formatting it to look right. I didn't have the time and then never went back to it, but it's still something I want to do. If this doesn't resolve soon, I guess I may be moving to wordpress too.
