The M&G lasts for two hours. We were setup by the guinea pigs and for the first 40 or so minutes, the kids didn't even notice them! Once Puddin spotted the little critters though it was all over. I am not exaggerating - for the next hour straight I could not drag her attention away from them! She stood, sat, layed down, and even jumped up on the table, never taking her gaze off of them except to give me that "pleeeeaasse, mom, can we get one?" look! The photographer thought she was adorable (of course! :)) and took lots of pictures of her watching the guinea pigs. The caption in the paper said something about her discovering a new friend that she'd like to adopt - that couldn't be more true, she was obsessed!
Lauren had a great time too. She went with her Daddy to Panera for lunch for the first half and they joined us for the second half of the meet and greet. Lauren arrived in true greyhound fashion...I'm pretty sure she'll be wearing this shirt to every meet and greet until she grows out of it...it's just too cute! She walked around saying "dog-dog" and dancing the whole time we were there. I think she's telling this little boy "ohhh...you're going to be in trouble...don't you know you're not supposed to pet the dog-dog in her face...you only pet her on her back...like me!" She hears this a lot around here!

Oh mom, I can't believe you didn't let Puddin adopt a new friend. ;-) Lauren is so cute, the shirt is perfect!
Lauren is adorable! I love the shirt, too.
Think how much fun Puddin would have if you adopted a friend. LOL
I loved doing adoption events. There was such a gratification doing them. I loved the photo intensely staring at the critters.
Thanks for leaving the kind words for Clancy, I really appreciated it.
Staff photographer? Puddin's famous. We may have to put in M&G's into our local paper. Love the shirt. Lauren looks quite proud to wear it.
