Storm Watcher
Puddin can always sense when a storm is brewing! When she looks to the sky like this, I know what's coming! She always runs upstairs to one particular dog bed anytime there is a storm now - the exact same spot that Macy used to go to! I have no idea what makes that feel like the safe spot, but hopefully it provides a little comfort at least. Fortunately, storms don't bother Buford at all!

Storms are brewing here too. I now have 2 dogs that are scared of storms. Yuck.
Isn't it funny how they "inherit" certain traits and habits from dogs that pass? After Treat passed away, Blueberry did that. She started sitting in the spot on the couch Treat had always held court from and took over a few other quirks. It always makes me wonder what passes between them that we don't know about.
Beckett gets that same look. Now he's started staring at the ceiling light in the bedroom when he thinks he hears thunder.
Oh Puddin. At least you don't have creaky bones to tell you when the storms are coming :)
