A Toddler and Two Dogs

Now that Spring is just about here, we have been spending a lot more time outside :)  That means that Lauren and the dogs get to hang out in the backyard and I've always got a camera strapped around my neck!  I know I have mentioned before how much Lauren adores her "Boo" and "Pop"!  The other day I caught her cheering Puddin on during a run...she claps her hands to her knees and says "come on dog dogs" when she wants them to go out in the yard with her...and I also caught her refereeing a little bitey face session which she thought was hysterical!  Puddin always tries to play bitey face, but poor Buford is never amused!  Lately she has been following Pop around in the yard like she's playing follow the leader too.  However, there is no doubt that Mr. Buford is her favorite and I love the last picture of her hugging her buddy!  I feel like the luckiest mom in the world to get to share my life with the three of them!

L: Oh, this is going to be good!

L: I can't look!  No, wait, I have to!

L: C'mon Pop, go for it!

L: That's a good one, do it again!

L: I love you guys, you always make me laugh!

L:  Get her back, Boo - go for the jugular!

L: I can't take it, I've got to stick up for my boy!  Okay, you two, that's enough for now..break it up!

I think he likes her too :)

What a great series of pics. You should be the poster child for people who return their greyhounds when they find out they are pregnant. To show them what they are missing out on.

They sure are having a great time together; you can tell how much Lauren loves her doggies! and how much they love her too.

I grew up with dogs, too, albeit not Greyhounds. Mine were Border Collies. But I think there's just something about a kid growing up with dogs that they don't get from anyone else. I always love seeing Lauren with the pups! And I agree, what a great summer you'll have. You might want to start planning Halloween early this year!

I had to laugh at Lauren being the 'fun police':) She's so tiny next to Burford and Puddin! A great sequence of photos and the last one is so lovely.
