We've had a lot of storms lately. Puddin gets very nervous during thunderstorms - she looks for her spot to "hide" in our bedroom and shakes/trembles until it passes. So we bought her a Thundershirt a few years ago. It works wonders for many of our friends greyhounds. It does seem to help Puddin, but doesn't completely calm her and we don't use it all that often. Still, anytime we have storms Lauren becomes very concerned about her beloved Puddin Pop. Anytime the word thunder is mentioned, Lauren will remind us that Puddin doesn't like thunder.
Knowing that we were going to have bad storms one day recently, we put the Thundershirt on Puddin before leaving for work. I asked Lauren what we were going to do with Puddin and she said "we just need to take the shake out of her". That day, Nay Nay told me that Lauren was very concerned for our Puddin girl all day. As soon as we got home that night, Lauren instantly started consoling Puddin. I grabbed the camera because it was sweet moment to see how worried Lauren was about her doggie. As I was snapping pictures, Lauren picked up Puddin's paw, kissed it, and in the most sincere voice said "it's okay now girl". My heart melted!

That is just too stinkin' sweet! It's a good thing your pups have Lauren to watch out for them.
You have some of the world's luckiest dogs! Lauren is such a doll. We were over at my sister in law's house this afternoon and our nephew was leading "Trigger" around by a leash.
How sweet. Lauren has such a tender heart. I love that..."take the shake out of Puddin." My Freedom sounds like a replica of Puddin, only Freedom's hideout of choice is the bathroom.
