The Cutest Little Thing

Woody is the cutest little thing ever!  Overall, he has been a really good pup!  However, at times he is also quite a handful!  In true puppy fashion, he is teething and constantly looking for something (anything!) that he can get in his mouth to chew on!  His favorites are shoes and mulch at the moment, but anything outside that's disgusting (like bugs) and anything inside (like us! our pant legs, our ankles, our hands) is fair game in his book!  With razor sharp teeth, we are working very hard to remove ourselves from his mouthing wish list!  When he's sleepy and when he's calm he's so sweet and cuddly though!  He's still relatively a baby so he still sleeps a lot which also helps.  He slept through the night on his first night home which completely shocked me.  I haven't been quite so lucky since then, but considering that he goes to bed at 9 with my daughter I think he's doing great overall...the earliest he's got me up to go potty was 2:30 am, but generally he waits closer to 5 am.  I was so worried about taking our little guy away from his mama and his litter mates, but, honestly, it didn't seem to phase him one bit!  He wants to play with Puddin and Vinny some kind of bad, but they are having none of it!  He is doing well with house training...he goes potty every time he goes outside (which is at least every two hours during the day!), but still has some accidents too.  For being so little, he sure does pee and poop a LOT!  Thankfully, he goes to my parents house during the day while we are at work...it makes a tremendous difference for him, plus it gives the greyhounds a break from his antics so it's win-win.  

Anything negative that I've mentioned is all just normal puppy stuff and we will get through it.  On a positive note, he is very loving, always happy, and seriously the cutest little thing!
