Our little boy was 6 months old at the end of November and got neutered on Dec. 18. He had to wear the cone of shame because he kept messing with the area after surgery. He did not like that cone, but we kept it on him for 4 days and leash walked him for 7 days. We opted for laser surgery and he is all healed now and full of energy. He loves to run and jump and I am constantly amazed at how FAST he is! Fortunately, he seems to have grown out of so many naughty puppy traits too :) He's no longer bitey, he comes when called, and he loves to cuddle almost as much as he loves to play!

...and this was the poor little guy when I picked him up! He had to spend the night at the vet because they were so busy and didn't get to his surgery until late in the day. He was not happy about wearing the cone at first, but by the next day he had adapted to it, as much as possible I suppose! He sure was relieved when we took it off for good though!
