The Finicky Eater

Tracy and I both instantly adored our little girl and our hearts were so sad at how thin she was when she came to us. We actually thought that they must have quit feeding her at the track. She ate her first meal really well and gained a couple pounds her first week....but then the real Macy came out and we realized that she was just a very finicky eater. We tried everything! She liked people food by itself, but even turned her nose up at chicken and hamburger (and canned food, and rice, and oatmeal, and cheese, and peanut butter, the list goes on...) when mixed with her kibble - crazy girl! We tried several brands of kibble with no luck. With each one she seemed to like it for a few days and then went right back to her boycott of eating. Here are some pictures when she arrived at her new home. She was very inquisitive, especially with the TV, and she loved to look at her reflection and try to figure out who that pretty girl on the other side was! In these pictures you can also see just how skinny she was - she's come a long way since then, but it's been a very slow process.
